Rachel practices in the areas of construction defect, commercial, and insurance defense litigation. She believes responsiveness, attention to detail, and a focus on results creates effective client relationships.
Since the start of her legal career, Rachel’s practice has centered almost exclusively on representing businesses of all sizes, including insurance companies. She helps carriers defend insured contractors from the pre-suit stage through trial against claims for breach of contract, breach of warranty, indemnification, negligence, and violation of Fla. Stat. Sec. 553.84. She also defends businesses and their employees against personal injury and property damage claims. Rachel also has extensive experience litigating personal jurisdiction issues for out-of-state and international defendants.
Rachel attended the University of Missouri – Kansas City, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish. She then moved to Florida and received her law degree from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where she served as Executive Research Editor of the Journal of Law and Public Policy. While in law school, she was a teaching assistant for the Legal Research and Writing, Appellate Advocacy, and Trial Practice courses. She is currently an attorney coach for the University of Central Florida Mock Trial Program.
Rachel grew up on a small cattle farm in the Midwest. She still enjoys anything outdoors—especially camping, kayaking, and hiking with her husband—and playing with their two dogs.
